Brainwrap and Mobile Websites

Dear Brainwrap Client:

Over the past few years, Brainwrap has developed many of our client's sites to be "responsive" or "mobile-friendly", meaning that the website content reformats itself to be optimized for viewing on iPhones, Android Phones and other mobile devices. Until now, we've handled this on a case-by-case basis, upgrading/overhauling older sites to be responsive as it's come up in conversation.

(In fact, until now even our own site at Brainwrap.com hasn't been mobile-friendly (the shoemaker's children going barefoot and all that).

Important Notice to All Brainwrap Clients

Dear Brainwrap Client--

Brainwrap became somewhat bottlenecked over the past month or two for a variety of reasons. The good news is that all of those issues had been resolved as of late last week, and it had been my intention to double down on catching up with the workload starting this week.

Unfortunately, over Easter weekend I was diagnosed with a rather nasty case of Shingles. Worse yet, it's on my face, making it extremely difficult to see out of my right eye or to type or read for more than a few minutes at a time.

If you know anything about this ailment, you know that it's pretty ugly and takes a couple of weeks to work it's way through the system.

Commonly known as the "Heartbleed" bug, it actually refers to an issue within OpenSSL, which is used to encrypt data as it's transferred from one system to another.

Instead of trying to describe how serious this is myself, here's a few quotes from top security experts:

Dear Brainwrap Clients:

As we head into the holiday season, I wanted to welcome some new clients to the Brainwrap fold...and to spread the word about a business opportunity being offered by a long-time client.
