Server Load Issue Status Update

Attention Brainwrap Hosting Client:

We have identified that part or possibly all of the issue on the server today has been related to extremely (and unusually) high outbound email volumes.

LiquidWeb (the host server provider) is researching the issue in more detail to determine exactly what the source of the outgoing email is so that it can be more proactively managed.

LiquidWeb is also continuously monitoring the server to ensure that there are no further service outages.

I will send another status update once I have further information.

Server Load Issue

To all Brainwrap hosting clients--

As you may be aware, at around 11:25am this morning, there was some sort of heavy traffic/load spike on the server which has been causing serious issues with loading your website and/or email services.

I have been working with LiquidWeb's tech support staff to resolve this issue for the past 4 hours, and hope to have a resolution soon. They have escalated the situation to their senior-level technician, and are supposed to be updating me with a status report as soon as possible.

I apologize for this service disruption and will contact you with a follow-up message as soon as I have news to report. This is the only issue I will be working on until it is resolved.

June 2010 Edition

Welcome to the June edition! No, the May edition didn't get nabbed by your spam filter; things just got so busy here at Brainwrap HQ that I never got around to sending one out last month. Speaking of which, I'm happy to announce the arrival of a new client site and revamps of two existing ones! But first...

"I would like to say "thank you" for your commitment of time and effort. You have made such a valuable impact in every aspect of our web presence. From the day you took over the development of all three of my web sites I could not believe the difference in the appearance, performance and traffic on these sites. Your creative and technical talents are to be commended. Again, many thanks."
